Our family

I know I haven't posted anything in awhile, but it seems like we have been so busy! We went to Missoula two weekends ago for a wedding and then stayed two days in Spokane before heading back home. The following Friday we had Caleb's birthday, Saturday Landen played in a 3-on-3 tournament with Jay and Logan (they won it!), and on Sunday we had Halle dedicated at church. This weekend will hopefully be pretty relaxing as we prepare for our big trip to Montana to see Landen's family!

Let's see what's new for the family...... well, no more crib for Caleb- he is officially in his big boy bed and is doing really well! We have also begun the wonderful task of potty training him and he is doing so much better then I thought he would. I bought him some big boy undies and he wears those during the day and is really good about going potty in the toilet- it is great, no more diapers! We have had a couple of accidents (but I won't go into detail :)

Halle is doing really well! She is not quite crawling yet, but is very good at getting around! She rolls and moves in circles and finds all sorts of interesting things on the floor! I love when she gets excited because she kicks her legs around, opens her mouth, and kind of squeals! She still loves watching her brother and I am so excited for when they can play together!

Landen and I are doing pretty well too! Landen has been pretty busy at work and in a couple of weeks will move from the design office to construction, it will be a little bit of a change! He is also in the process of painting our house so a lot of his free time has been spent getting the house ready. I am kept very busy with the two kids- but I love it! The weather has been sooo hot here so we have spent a lot of time outside playing in the water! I am also playing in a basketball league on Mondays with some old team mates and that is really fun! Well, I should probably get to bed because tomorrow will be another wonderful day with my two kids and I need all the energy I can get! God bless!

(Above) Here is Halle on her belly! She is almost crawling
and can get around really well by rolling and
moving in circles!
(Below) I thought this series of pictures was really
cute of Caleb and Halle!
I love my sister!
My brother is so great!
Wait! I want to look at the pictures!
Now I am stuck sitting here all by myself!

Caleb's birthday!

Here is Caleb at his party we had for him at a
park two days after his birthday. The party was
a lot of fun! We had Caleb's friends come and they
played at the park, ate dinner, got goodies from a
pinata, and had cupcakes! This is the only
good picture I have right now because I had
Kristen take most of the pictures with her camera.
Caleb, Halle, and Landen putting together the train
set we got him!
Here he is opening his train set
Hudson came over earlier in the day so we sang
"Happy Birthday" to him and had cupcakes!
Here are the boys eating their cupcakes!

Our stay in Spokane after Missoula

Caleb opened up his gifts early from grandpa,
grandma, and auntie Duke. Here he is with
the trucks auntie Duck got him!
Amy came over to my parent's house on Monday with
Hayden and Olivia- it was a lot of fun! Here
are Olivia and Halle playing on the floor together
Caleb and Hayden were having some very important
"guy" time after swimming in the pool!

This is such a funny picture because Caleb is in
mid-jump as Hayden splashes in the pool!

Halle is 6 months!

Wow! Time has flown by- our little girl is already half a
year old, and what a wonderful half a year it has been!
Halle Rose is such a delight and a real joy! She is so cute
and her personality is realing starting to show. She
absolutely loves to watch Caleb-she follows him with
her eyes wherever he goes, and when he talks to her or
dances for her, she just giggles- it is so cute! She also likes
peek a boo, and "where's Halle?", she still loves to stand
and jump- especially when her brother comes near. She
is becoming more mobile and is getting very good at
turning on her tummy- it won't be long before she is
crawling. I have started her on some solids, I got
these little net food things at the store and you can
put veggies and fruit in them and she loves them! She
really likes food a lot so when we are eating I sit her in
her little chair and she eats right along with us. We don't
swaddle her anymore for naps or bedtime and it is really
cute because she takes her pacifier out of her mouth
and then she tries to put it back in and can't and it's
really cute to watch her try and figure it out! The rest
of the family is doing well (a little sleep deprived). We
started Caleb in his big boy bed last Monday and he is
doing surprisingly well(most the time)but the last
couple mornings he has been up before 6- ahhh! One
morning I woke up to him standing at the side of our
bed with a smile on his face saying "momma"- I looked
at the clock, it was 5:20 am. Hopefully as he gets used
to his bed he will sleep a little longer!
I will try and put some pictures up of the last couple
of weeks, we have been so busy, and we are entering
another busy time! On July 2, Landen and I celebrated
our 4th wedding anniversary! It was great we went to
dinner and then kayaking on Lake Union with some
friends. For the 4th we went up to my Aunt and Uncles
for dinner and watched fire works. This coming weekend
we are heading to Montana for a wedding and then the
next weekend we are having Caleb's birthday party! He
is turning 2 on the 22 of July! Well, It is a little after 9 pm
and I should hit the hay because I will probably be getting
up early!
